The One When The Blog Ends

Hello people!

Today I will write the last blog of the semester and it's about this blog.
First of all I have to say that I really enjoyed writing it, I've been blogging since last semester but I haven't get tired of doing it. It's been really fun to talk about different topics that I wouldn't normally talk about for example that time when I had to write about who I would like to have a conversation with with. That made me realise that I never thought about it before but it's a really good question, I mean you can learn a lot about someone from that answer like what are their interest, what are they would like to know about and I think it was quite fun to know those facts about people that I spend a lot of time with.

Well nothing is perfect and the post that I didn't like that much would be the one when we wrote about our favourite subject just because it was about a subject and I'm talking about university all day long and I like to think about different things from time to time but other than that it helped me to get to know my classmates better and there wasn't any post that it was a problem to me.

I think this blog helped me improving my english writing because it made me look for more vocabulary that helped me to express my opinions in a better way.

A blog that I really enjoyed was Francisca's blog and I'll link it here so you can enjoy it too I love her writting. http://franciscarojasilva.blogspot.cl/

I hope you all have a nice last week of 2016!

A One-on-One conversation

Hellooo everyone!
Today I will write about someone I would love to have a conversation with and that is Jim Morrison. Why? you may be wondering, the answer is really simple, my mom is a huge fan of The Doors so I grew up listening to them. I always liked their music but as I grew older I started listening not just the sound but also the lyrics and some songs really catched my attention. A while ago I read about Jim Morrison's life and he had some wild adventours plus he wrote the songs that were stuck in my brain for a good while and also mean the most to me. One the first things I specially remember was watching a video of a live performance that they did in a small bar and everything was so crazy, everybody was really experiencing the music and feeling it, everything seemed so crazy but awesome at the same time that I wish I was there.

When they were performing it was clear that he felt it in an amazing way, something that I never seen before.
If I had any chance to talk to him I would like to ask him what inspired him to write those songs or how did he felt like, lonely? perturbed? Also did he like being famous or was it something that he hated or made him uncomfortable?
Personally one of the most important questions for me would be what did he think about life, as you may know he had like a double personality, something like his spirit animal (they called him the lizzard king) so his point of view about life is something that really intrigues me and it must be something extremly interesting to hear about and I wish I knew and one of the most important questions to me would be what was he thinking when he wrote People Are Strange (it's one of my favourites songs btw).

Tell me in the comments what do you think it would be a good question to ask him about. :)

An Interesting subject

Hey everybody! Today I would like to talk you about of what I think is my most interesting subject this semester. Aside from the fact than workshop is like the most important one in the whole five years and I can say that is the one that I learn the most for me the most interesting subject is fundamentals of architecture. I don't quite know why does it have that name but is basically a little bit of architecture history mixed up with learning how to defend your point of view correctly. My professor is Alicia Campos and I think that she has a lot to do he fact that I enjoy her class, she makes the class really interesting and makes us participate in everything. Sadly I have that class every Tuesday from 8:30 to 11:45 so I must admit I've fallen asleep but not because it's boring! It's just because since I started uni I'm always sleepy. I wish it could start a little bit later so I could be totally awake. Every class we have to write a short essay about the topic that we discuss earlier that class and even if it is a little bit exhausting sometimes I think is a really good way of making sure we are learning, but is not only writing, sometimes we have to draw, create a story and that makes the work go from being work to a fun thing to do. I think is really useful because the more you know how famous architects solved problems and create amazing works you can learn how to make good designs. Also, you learn how to defend your point of view and that is really helpful in any conversation or even discussion that we may have.
Tell me in the comments below what is your most interesting subject this semester.:)

A famous chilean

Hello guys!

Today I would like to talk to you about Isabel Allende.
Well she is a well known writer and that's what made her famous, some of her most famous books are "La casa de los espĂritus", "Paula", etc.
I know that you would expect me to say that I admire her because I like her books or how she writes but the real reason is other.
Isabel Allende is a really passionate feminist and I think she has made an awesome job empowering women, not only chilean women but also around the world. I have never really noticed her until last semester, I mean I knew she was a writer and everything but last semester I had to watch this video:
And I really liked how she treated the current situation of women worldwide. In a few words the video shows her talking about her experience about being a part of the olympic games in a really funny way and a couple of stories of women that she personally met and wrote about. With different stories about those girls Isabel showed the people how is the situation of thousands of women around the world and how they are being treated like they are an inanimate object that you can own and how we all need to make something to change that and make the world a better place for everybody.
If I had a chance to talk to her I would like to ask her about what made her open her eyes about this situation being a privileged person for being who she is and how would be her ideal world regarding the situation the she exposed.
Commennt down below who is the chilean person that you admire the most!

Victory City

Heloo people

Today I visited this http://fishmech.info/www.victorycities.com/ and was learning about that new project.I read about the benefits of it and what kind of media coverage it has gotten.
Well, this project has a good side and a bad side. The good side is that it would help to prevent many problems like crime, pollution (for example India that is so poluted you can see it from outter space), it would be cheaper and lots of other things that really sound like an utopia, the problem with this is that it doessn't sounds real at all. I trully think that is really good idea to find a way to make cheaper and eco-friendly cities but the bad thing is that someone is going to have almost total control of the people living in this Victory City. Some of the bad things I noticed are that there would be a police onitoring 24/7 every part of the city which I think is okay if it's in some public places that could be dangerous but every place, for me is way too much... another thing is that it would be like an unitary system for everything, it would be like making a whole city live under the same roof which I think it could cause more problems, because making so many people live in harmony under the same roof would be really hard, making all this people happy would be so hard!!!
I think this kind of project may be popular in the future because the world right now is facing all the problems that this city solves, but I don't think that it would actually solve them, I think it could make them worse.

Let me know what you think in the comments :)

Train your brain

Hello everybody
Today I'll talk to you about this article https://www.theguardian.com/education/2016/oct/24/want-to-train-your-brain-forget-apps-learn-a-musical-instrument

Well I can only play flute a little but I would love to learn how to play any other instrument if I had the time. Personally I love music and I really think it has the power to help youeven more if you can play it.  When I was still in high school I had to investigate about how the brain reacted to music and I found out that it had impressive efects on it.
This article shows a study that says that playing an instrument can help you to heal damage and train areas of it that normally people don't and I totally agree with it.The thing is that you need a lot of coordination and concentration to play an instrument so while you play it it certanly trains your brain and your passion for something amazing and beautiful like music.
I think we should all learn how to play an instrument to keep our brains healthy.

See you next week!

A Walk I Would Do Again

Hey guys!
Today I will tell you about a walk I wuld looove to do again

When I was about 6 years old my family and I used to go to Lican Ray every year, we stayed at a huge country house that was next to a forest. I can remember that the forest was so Disney, like I felt that the movie snow white happened there.
We had this tradition of taking a walk there every day after we came back from the beach around 6 pm and watch the sunset from a little hill that was in the middle of it.
I can perfectly remember singing songs with my parents while walking across the wood and being so happy and carefree about being there.
The year that my brother was born we didn't go cause he was so little and we couldn't take him with us or leave him all by himself and I must admit I was quite mad at him cause and blame him that we stopped going to that beautiful place that became one of my favourites. Sadly as the years passed my parents didn't want to go for many reasons but that didn't stop me so I started going by myself for a cuple of years before we switch the place for our vacations.
I would love to go back there, it was my favourite place to think. It was so calm and it smelled so good, like pine trees, the view was amazing all you could see was nature and well it takes me back to simpler times when I had no worries and all I did was to had fun
